WHY DO I NEED A KANTLEAK™ INSTRUMENTATION VALVE?
Have you ever experienced stem seal leakage after only
a few short cycles? Are you forced into maintenance and the adjustment of stem
seal packing? Perhaps you should try
our unique Kantleak™ stem seal design. All of our Kantleak™ valves utilize a
double o-ring stem seal to provide leak free use even with extreme cycling
(20,000 plus cycles)
We utilize a
primary Viton o-ring for improved chemical and high temperature resistance and a
secondary Buna-N o-ring for petroleum compatibility.
Other custom combinations are also available.
WHY
DO I NEED A MICRO-METERING INSTRUMENTATION
VALVE?
Instrumentation valves are utilized in three primary applications:
isolation, switching, and throttling. In throttling services it is important to
have an opening characteristic that gives greater sensitivity to the stem
opening adjustment. The following
charts detail the opening characteristic for a V1 (mild-metering profile), a V3
(Micro-Metering Profile), and a Kantleak™ instrumentation ball valve.
Why do I need a valve that is made in the
USA
?
Guaranteed quality and a good reputation require continuous improvement
and oversight of production. This
can only be achieved where management, production, design, and development are
closely linked. Many companies
operate from several locations globally and suffer from decoupled production and
design. In many cases the product
sold is simply bought and resold from various foreign countries and only the
companies’ name is put to the product. At
Anderson Brass, our factory is located in
Hartsville
,
South Carolina
and is directly coupled to management, design, and development functions.
This affords a unique opportunity to provide the absolute best quality
product at a competitive price. We
take pride in our dedicated domestic production and we are confident that our
customers will apply an appropriate value to this very critical attribute!
